It’s been a busy few weeks at work and I have been meaning to get around to visiting the Veggie Pret in Broadwick Street since it opened! Last week I finally managed to keep my lunch free and make the 20 min walk from my workplace to Soho.
Tucked away in the heart of Soho was this bright green sign which you can’t miss with cute carrot trees! (not shown in the picture but its on the other side of the road!)
Once I walked in I knew I was in heaven, there were so many options to choose from I couldn’t pick! Fortunately before I left the office I had a quick look at the website to see what they had to offer –this definitely saved me a lot of time! Using the handy filter feature on the website I knew what I could and couldn’t eat and what I really wanted
I was surprised there wasn’t a queue however I guess I am quite late jumping on the bandwagon and most people have already been!
The menu was pretty impressive with a variety of options such as:
- Fruit Oat and Spelt Cookie
- Avocado & chipotle chickpeas salad wrap
- Courgetti veggie pot
- Cucumber & humous on rye

I chose the Mezze salad (and yes I know it is available in most Pret branches) however I was really looking forward to the tasty red tapenade! (Pret if you’re reading this please share the recipe!)
After that super tasty salad I opted for the Cacao and Orange dessert pot and it did not disappoint! It was super sweet (possibility a bit too much) however it tasted like a Terry chocolate orange moose (which is my favourite Pret dessert!) I could only manage to eat half of it, luckily for my sister I saved her the other half!
I was super full from all that yummy food so I didn’t get a chance to eat the chocolate coconut bite but according to my granny it was better than bounty! And she is a Bounty connoisseur so it must be good!
Would I visit again? Yes, however I do tend to find Pret a little expensive however it’s definitely a treat for me now and again. Especially as Veggie Pret it’s a long walk from work!
